There is a group of philosophers, Scientists and Astrologers who speculate about a possible polar reversal or shift theory for December 21, 2012. According to them earth poles may reverse from its current north and south position that means north will be south and south becomes north and polar shift is a term used for shifting of earths poles from current position to some other position.
Now lets examine how they are speculating a polar shift/ reversal, According to well know new age thinker and Scientist Gregg Braden , polar reversal will be triggered by earths magnetic field flip. According to him earths magnetic field is diminishing every day and moving in a faster pace with each advancing day, after a certain point it stops and flip in opposite direction which make the earth to movie in a reverse direction. We can see the effects of diminishing magnetic field if we notice changing climatic patters all around the world, the intense heat during summer, snow fall in Mexico, etc and also the increasing frequency of solar flare in polar regions, earths magnetic field have the ability to deflect field away from reaching earths surface. Some geologists are opposing his views according to them at the rate at which magnetic field is fading, a flip cant happen during 2012 December 21st.
Another possible theory for December 21 2012 states that during the day earth will reach the center of the galactic plain of milky way which may trigger a polar reversal or a pole shift, geologist have enough proof of previous polar shifts, according to them earths pole was located in Africa, it proves that polar shift reversal had happened many times in earths history.
If such a polar shift or reversal happens it will trigger many changes on earth surface earth quakes, tsunamis,cyclones, gales, you name it. The most destructive one will be of a polar shifts, it will melt away the polar snow and will rise the sea level. A sudden polar shift is the only thing which can cause minimum damage, if such a thing happens we will see the sun rising from west and sets in the east.

Earth stops rotation and there will be 3 long nights or days depend where you live. After, the rotation will start in opposite side. But wait. The magnetic field strength goes 0 as earth stops. So they that are under the sun die from radiation. The crust stress creates very strong earthquakes that set up all volcanoes and super volcanoes. Because air moves with earth 700 to 900 MPH, as earth stops wind speeds 400 to 500 MPH are normal. DNA test of HUMANS prove that we all converge in some point around 26000 years before. The reason that humans are very similar is that humanity, continually goes through a bottleneck, and let only thousands to live. If 5000 years ago there were only 250 million humans, then 25000 years ago there were only 2000. And this will go over and over again. The lucky one in government’s underground shelters might survive, but they will start over again from the beginning.
A geological pole shift will possibly leave all structures on the surface totally destroyed. As we get closer to the centre of the galaxy.We will be moving into a massive black hole.At that point anything will be possible and what we thought was real will turn out to be a dream.In other words there could be a great awakening as to the unfolding of the ultimate.
